16 February to 15 March

On show in Oriel Fach and on the stairs is a collection of work by Helen Duffee.

Helen graduated from Carmarthen, West Wales School of Art, in 2007 and was selected for the Eisteddfod in the same year.

She takes domestic items and paints scenes and icons on them, making the mundane into exquisite works of art. These include a religious triptych painted on the back of a mushroom carton, angels painted on an old paint can, and witty pieces such as a duck on an egg printed on to a tea towel – a must-have for any kitchen!

An old Welsh dresser with some of these transformed objects is the centre of her show, and you will be amused and enchanted with this artist's work.
