Neil Crowther -June 7th- July 5

Neil Crowther, in the main gallery has a collection of oil paintings that capture the

form and structure of the Pembrokeshire landscape. Using patterns and strong

colour his compositions give familiar beauty spots a dramatic make over. The

cliffs and rock formations of Marloes, the beach at Sandy Haven, Ricketts Head,

Druidstone and the smaller studies of trees and churches have all been carefully

considered and constructed and rendered in intense colours. The same eye for

light and form, colour and patterns has been cast upon the human form, and also

some delightful paintings of still life. Neil studied at the Slade and has taught in

Tasker Milward and is now a part time lecturer at Pembrokeshire College Haverfordwest
