Playing with an aesthetic connection between the domestic and the natural world, this collection of work conveys an intimate landscape with a distinctly feminine flavour.

Feeding an obsession with multiples and the elevation of commonplace materials, the method of installation dissolves the boundary between art and craft.

Strength and fragility are present in equal measure and it is hoped that each piece will intrigue and absorb beyond a search for process.

This is a detailed view of an installation of 128 pots made by Ruth,
who kindly donated all the proceeds from the sale of the pots to the gallery.

Ruth wished to thank the gallery – Lynne Crompton and the Friends – for giving so many new graduates the opportunity for showing their work. The fundraiser installation was largely an acknowledgement of this.
